HEINLEIN'S RULES OF WRITING

    I first heard these rules on WMG Publishing. 

    Daily practice pays off. Rules 4 and 5 are the hardest for me to follow through on. These rules helped my writing speed and and number of stories.

Here is Heinlein's list:

1. You must write.

2. You must finish what you start.

3. You must refrain from rewriting except to editorial order.

4. You must put it on the market.

5. You must keep it on the market until sold.

There you go. These are simple rules, but hard to follow. Follow these and they will help move you along the path to better writing and publication.
